As most of you following us know, our family on our dads side is from Portugal, so we try to visit them when we have the opportunity. Especially since we have a grandma living here alone, who we need to take extra good care of. It’s quite hard having someone you love so far away and not being able to help her out in her everyday life. That was one of the reasons we moved here back in 2017 for 5 months.
We are incredibly lucky to be able to call this our second home. It’s fun going going back to a place where you have been every single year growing up and seeing how much you have changed, comparing year to year.
What has definitely changes a lot here though is the food scene! It’s so inspiring to come here and just find the most abundant vegan options everywhere, fruits and veggies that taste like the sun, and new eco-friendly alternatives around every corner. So here is what our week looked like, what we ate and where you should go if you ever visit Cascais/Lisbon in Portugal!
Have you been to Portugal, or are planning to go? Would love to hear about your experiences!
We also have some more posts from Portugal that you can check out if you like <3
