This yummy breakfast might look like something that's hard to create, but it's really not. You don't need that many ingredients, and can of course make the smoothie in any way you like. By mixing in some chia "pudding" you get a super nutritious meal that gives you a lot of energy to take on the new day. These tiny seeds come from a plant that is similar to mint, which is called Salcia Hispanica, grown in Southern America. Back in the day, the Aztecs and Mayans used these seeds alot, and the name actually means "strenght" in Mayan. Today, they have become popular all over the world due to their incredible health benefits. They are loaded with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, proteins and micronutrients. Smoothie parfait with chia seeds (2 portions):Smoothie part
1 frozen banana
1 handful frozen rasberries
Water to get the right consistency
1 tbs Purely Greens Max
1 tbs Pea Protein
Chia part
2 tbs chia seeds
Oat milk to soak the chia seeds
First, soak the chia seeds in the oat milk and stir well. Let them soak for about 10 minutes, and they will absorb all the liquid and grow in size. While waiting for the chia pudding you can start making the smoothie. Place all the ingredients in a blender/use a hand mixer until you have reached your preferred consistency. Place the chia pudding and smoothie in layers and top it off with all the goodies you can find in your cabinets.
