Happy Valentine's love!!
None of us were big on celebrating Valentine’s day before, but this year we went to a morning event that really set the tone for the day. The event was a heart-opening yoga class with Silje Thorstensen, a really great yoga teacher at Kjernekraft in Oslo. She explained how there are certain yoga poses that can open our hearts both physically (by opening the chest) and emotionally/spiritually (by making us more open to giving and receiving love).
It turned out to be quite a nine thing to celebrate Valentine’s after all - its a pretty nice thing to focus on giving and receiving love for a whole day! It gives you a lot of energy.
It doesn’t have to be romantic love, but it can be a celebration of self-love, friendships, family, your furry friends or your significant other. <3
