My favorite breakfast for a while has been a variant of this smoothie. I just love the taste, the texture, and the fresh feeling. Something about it reminds me of sun and summer even though it’s really gray and rainy in Oslo right now ☁️ m
You need:
2 bananas (can be frozen or fresh)
1 package of frozen blueberries (preferably organic or wild)
1 handful frozen mango
1 handful kale or spinach (optional)
1 tsp spirulina (optional)
1 handful cilantro (optional)
A little bit of water
I like to top mine with dates or raisins, kiwi and maybe some fresh mango if there are any ripe ones in the store. Enjoy it!
Ps! Did you know that spirulina (and other algae) are considered the future of food? They provide really dense nutrition and take little resources to produce. Spirulina, for example, contains 65-70% complete protein, and the world's most digestible natural source of high quality protein. Even NASA are testing out spirulina for space travel 👩🚀 Pretty cool?
