We just mixed together some amazing raw balls in the kitchen today. Just another thing you can do while self-quarantining. Is that an expression? :)
These are inspired by a recipe in “Rågodt” by Tiril Refsum, our friend and source of inspiration, and the owner and founder of the raw café Oslo Raw. We adjusted the recipe slightly, and it turned out just amazing if we can say it ourselves. The perfect combination of salty, sweet, crunchy and gooey.
You need:
2 dl oats
2 dl almonds
2 dl walnuts
1 package of dried apricots
1 tsp cinnamon
a pinch of salt
ca. 9 medjool dates
How to:
The way to do it is quite straight forward. Just add all the ingredients except the dates into the food processor. Then, add the dates little by little. When the texture is gooey, and everything sticks together, and you can roll them into small balls. Decide how large you want to make them, and roll into as many as you want!
Tip!
If its too sticky, add more oats. If its too dry, add more dates.
